right now, you need to exit ali or corp to join FW, the idea it to be able to join FW with corp without having to leave the ali, and to join FW without having to leave the corp : )

i think a lot of people would like to do some kind of fun weekend ops, but it require too much work for fun weekend.

and droping ali with corp for fun weekend of can turn out to be pretty hard etc.

i think i would be fun and it would bring a lot of new gameplay for "casual" nullbears and hi sec carebears Big smile

War mechanics make this impossible. As it should.

Agreed. Also, Faction Warfare was not intended (at least based on my observations) to be a "casual" activity with LP/ISK being the primary goal. It was meant to be a widely-available, structured source of small-gang PvP and offer a sort of training ground for newbros interested in PvP. It's not designed for those who want to jump in and make a profit lickety-split like exploration can be. It's designed for players who would be in it for the long haul.

Point taken, but if I may play Devil's Advocate for a little while longer, even from a lore/role-playing standpoint, to me at least it doesn't make much sense for someone to just pop in and out of the militia. A "real" militia like the United States National Guard doesn't like people to just show up when they feel like it! Besides, if you want to role-play in the militia, why not join full-time, if that's what you enjoy doing? Leave your corp and join J4LP or QCATS or a similar group for the other militias. Corps are about being with people with similar play-styles and interests as you. If your corp isn't matching up with your interests, then you should consider changing your corp, not introducing a whole new game mechanic that would be a bother for CCP to try and code so you can waffle back and forth for the rest of your career in EVE.
