Who We Are

Whale Girth was formed a little over a year ago by a confederation of veteran w-space PvP capital pilots. Shortly after establishing our name as a group that loves fighting outnumbered, through small-gang PvP and small-scale cap warfare fights in w-space, we formed the Grand Sky Wizard alliance to establish a larger following of like minded people across several timezones. We all live in a class 6 (C6) wormhole which has a Magnetar effect with a persistent C5 connection.

Who We Are Looking For

• Pilots with the ability to fly PvP dreadnoughts and carriers. You don't have to own one, but it would be nice.
• People that are not afraid to die. There is a reason our alliance tag is [YOLO]. We prefer fighting odds and reason.
• Individuals that make ISK to PvP. You will make lots of ISK and you will be expected to use it, not farm and horde it.
• Pilots without strong egos, able to deal with trolling, and have a generally laid back attitude. We don't like drama.
• Patient people willing to help build our AU TZ into an active PvP environment from the ground up
• Proactive pilots willing to take initiative at the risk of failure. We create our own content in this TZ, which includes you.
• Wormhole experience not specifically required. If you're familiar with nullsec or lowsec, you can quickly learn what you need to know about w-space. Preference will be given to those in AU TZ with T3 cruiser skills, capitals, and some PvP experience.

You don't need to be Australian or limited to the AU TZ, but be aware, other recruitment outside of AU and early EU timezones is very limited and highly selective. Follow the procedures in the MOTD of our public channel 'WhaleGirth" for non-AU recruitment.

What We Offer

Living in a high-class (large) C6 wormhole and having a persistent C5 connection provides us with lots of high-mass routes to both w-space, nullsec, and lowsec systems all over New Eden. On any given day you can leave our home WH and find yourself with the choice of 4 different nullsec regions to roam, then come back and jump into a lowsec system that has an active camp setup to be broken. On your way back, you might run into a w-space PvP gang that noticed your activity in an adjacent hole and they gank you, which leads to an escalated armor T3 and capital battle. Wormholes are the definition of emergent PvP and mass restrictions keep the big blobs and supercapitals out.

On the PvE side, you will be able to make billions of ISK per day just from running anomalies in our home with a few others. There are also high yield gas sites in our home, C5 static, and connecting chain most of the time for easy access to skeleton-crew ISK making when there's nothing else going on. You should find it trivial to make ISK once you are established in the wormhole. Keep in mind, we are a PvP corp/alliance, so you will be expected to have properly fit capitals available if you are sitting on plenty of ISK. We print ISK to fund PvP, not for the sake of printing ISK.
