Linux MInt 16 64 bit exefile.exe not loading but launcher does

Hi,

Here is the error I get when I run wine exefile.exe

I have winetricks installed with vcrun2005 2008 and 2010 installed. I aldu have the dxd9 42? and 36 installed. I also have corefonts installed and have set the msvcr100 80 90 and msvcp100 90 80 and atl and vcomp set as recommended.

I am using wine 1.4.1

1.4.1 is 2 years old. Use wine 1.7 or at least 1.6.2. Welcome to 2014!

With wine 1.6.2 or up you won't need any of this. Eve works pretty much out of the box now, so delete that old prefix and create a new one without all that garbage.

Thanks for the recommendation. Yeah I have not updated wine from the version that came with 16. Did not have a need to LOL. I will update and report.

You need install 32 bit libs for video drivers. You can search and read about it in this part of forum.
