I WANT WIS WITH PLANET SIDE STUFF!!!!

Turn WoD into a planet based game where we can go explore the cities of amarr and gallente and such and even buy parcels of land and build our own stuff.

Can you say defense satellites, more bombing of planets, surface to space weapons, not to mention the entire economy of needing building materials on planets for personal parcels of land, simcity or second life type.

To the OP: be assured that WiS is the lesser problem to CCP right now. They're betting everything on the Rubicon vision, in all senses.

CCP can't afford to develop anything else as they fix everything broken that needs to be fixed before the Rubicon vision can be implemented.

Anyway, the Rubicon vision is going to flip the bird to carebears, hiseccers, casuals, soloers, wormholers, lowseccers, faction warfarers and everyone not in a nullsec alliance, as the Rubicon vision focuses on nullsec content only. Nullsec alone will build stargates, nullsec alone will access new space, and anyway it's not a stretch of imagination to figure how *some* in nullsec could drive everyone else away from the new content just because they can.

If, and it's a large IF, betting hard on nullsec helps driving up the player numbers, CCP will survive.

In all other more likely scenarios, CCP will crash and burn spectacularly after their last Jesus feature is officially declared "meh", and we'll have some fun cooking marshmallows by the bonfire & walking our avatars in a single empty room until the lights go off.

I am not Dinsdale, and my main is not even a fraction as infamous as Dinsdale is.

But then, two persons can reach a similar conclussion for different reasons and through different thought processes.

…but WoD doesn't exist. What wold be the point in using that abandoned project to replace the already non-existing WiS? You end up with something abandoned that doesn't exist either way, and we already have one of those in the game.
