Hi guys,

I have found several post about Ishtar but i'm still not really sure what is the best for my activity.

I want to be able to do IN SOLO :
-C2/C3 WH site
- Anom Angel site up to DED 4/5

It can be either shield or armor fits.

Bonus Question: Is the Gila better than the Ishtar for that kind of activity (space region) ?

A fit for C2s and 5-6/10s is easily achieveable. However C3s are a fair bit harder, you can't reliably speed tank because of webs, there are also neuts to contend with which can be very problematic. However you can carry a mobile depot with a seperate fitting for C3s. Also don't forget that if you're going to do WH sites solo, you need salvagers because most of the money comes from the salvage and not the loot.

As for Gila v Ishtar. Gila can probably get more dps, but scout drones are still terrible for PvE because of travel time and drone aggro. I'd say Ishtar is still better.

I would use Wardens/garde depending on range and then from there active omni shield with a Cap recharger. Mids: 10mn ab Large sb Passive anti-em ward Adaptive invuln Cap recharger Lows: DCU 3 DDA Co pro for DLA in the highs Rigs: Capacitor safeguard/ and whatever you like. I would go with a salvage tackle

This can handle C2s easily, for Angel sites, swap the EM hardener for an explosive hardener and the omni for shield boost amplifier and you should be able to do 5-6/10 as well. Also don't forget to bring bouncers for the angels sites. The highs are interchangeable and you can stick whatever you want in there.

You would drop sentries, orbit one @ 500 with the AB on and try to blap frigs on the approach, if they get under the sentry tracking you would use lights to clean them up. Once those are all cleared you would use 2x Gecko 2x Hammers and 1x Hobs on the Cruisers and BS while orbiting the BS at 500 to speed tank their dps. It has a fair bit of tank, but you really want to get under the guns of the BS ASAP as they can hit pretty hard.

I have never actually used this Ishtar fit for C2s, but I used to run a Harbinger with around the same tank (dual repped) and those could handle the sites well once you get a close orbit on the BS, since this Ishtar is faster and has a lower sig and more tank, it shouldn't be a problem.

For Angels sites you would use Bouncers almost exclusively while orbiting one of them @ 500 with the AB on. The rats usually spawn at a decent distance in DED sites so you shouldn't have any problems blapping all of them before they get under your guns.

Be sure to watch for drone aggro and pull your sentries in as soon as they take damage.
