eveonline.com - OLD News much?

How the hell you call your self an "mmorpg" and have a site thats literly years OLD...

Lets start on _ http://www.eveonline.com/

on the very bottom "latest news" you find a small (blue on blue) link to a "link mish mash" of the actuall features of Kronos.
If we ignor that and klick on top right EVE UNIVERS -> LATEST EXPANSION......we land on RUBICON.

Since ccp is not going to make big expansions anymore - this "rubicon" will now stay forever?


The german site is even worse.........
the "NEWS" on the bottom are about ODYSEEY (sept 2013!) and the "new expansion" links also to "Rubicon"


So:
- latest expansion is not shown on any "latest expansion" site.
- latest news are only aviable on the english site (in a "hidden link" (blue on blue) on the bottom of the site)
- the german site dont even has that.
- the russian site aint any different to the german.
- the news are horrible summed up since u have to browse to a bounch of forum posts to get it put together if you manage to find that (english) tiny link...


Thats why i dont go to eve.com if i want to know anything about the freaking game - couse its a mess.
.. and dont get me startet on devBlogs :I



Lets take a look on some other sites that you just find by using google (first page: eve online expansion):

explains a bit about kronos. up 2 date.

shows all releases listed with names on it and dates! kronos is more flashed out since its allready released.

I could do a better job by "copy and paste" ........ to be fair - anyone could ... and ... yeah, "anyone" did!
Just look ! There are thousands of sites aviable that got the informations listed with names, dates - pictures and even some sites that show compare screenshots! ... some even crash the informations up to what it could/will mean for the players and not just throwing numbers at them :/

So sad. Doing such a fine job in finaly taking the suggestion and making the game more open to ppl**...
and screwing up the mainsite in the proccess ... (guess mainsite processing got a nerf here! ha ha)

ps. why dont u just pay some fans with plex? they sure help ja out! some other rpg games got fans that translate text for free! just to help to get the game straight. damn. ^^

Because what happens in the game is the MMORPG part, not whats written on some ****** website

They aren't all that great when it comes to updating stuff. Hell, the 2014 CSM election site said 2013 CSM Elections and wasn't even fixed until after the elections were over. :P

If you would like to help out with the non-development side of Eve, there are assorted volunteer opportunities you should look into. They are rewarding in many ways.
