Best post that I have read on these forums in the past six months. I'm bookmarking this to be able to send to friends that don't understand this game.

Shiptastic... coined here folks.

I'm loving all the attention btw. Keep it coming, talk more about me.
Okay.
You're not legit, well maybe, but definitely not trustworthy.

Too bad.

not legit? When did I try to get anything out of anyone? No one is asking you to hang around here. I love the people I have met here so far. If there comes a time when i'm actually trying to scam something out of someone, then you can spew your nonsensical bull-fruit.

I have also openly posted my character and my pvp toon. Why the heck do i care. I want to meet these people and if its in the cards, get blown up by them all. Maybe, JUST maybe i'll get to blow one of them up, or maybe at least put up a good fight.

Just because your in a game where people cheat and steal (hate to tell you but this is just as likely in the real world) doesn't mean everyone having a good time is out to do the same.

Lighten up, unclench your cheeks.

Too much positive attention in a too short amount of time
plus the fact that you love this attention and actively ask for more,
plus your need of expressing yourself,
plus the hint that you mostly care about yourself.

People should ask themselves what happens when you don't receive this attention anymore.

No... not trustworthy.

All i'm going to say is get over it, and most people care mostly about themselves, this post is my story, and my post, who else would it be about?

Anywho, choose to believe me or not, makes no difference to me. Thanks though for coming to bring another negative response to my posts, stay and make a fool of yourself if you wish.

on that note, I don't know if I have ever seen a fat turtle.

There are definitely fat turtles. A roommate of mine had a fellow I named Sumo. The underside of his turtle shell had a bulge so whenever he'd rest on a rock under a heat lamp he would wobble. The funniest thing is when he was hunting he was super fast. The fishies would always underestimate him because it would look like he's dragging himself along (he'd rarely swim), but one snap of his neck.. and dead fish in his jaws.

Interesting fellow. He had a meltdown and started facing away from people eventually.

meltdown or was he just aligning himself in case he got targeted?

OP... freaking rad isn't it? :D

Man.... i'm only 4 months or so in but have a lot of roams under my belt now. Your post made me remember my first couple of engagements and you told the story well... took me back a bit.

Hell, I still get all jazzed up on the warp in to an encounter. :P

I like that story. I gave it a like. Would have done more, but that's the best one can do in the forums.

I can imagine there's a few people shocked that I like the story (if they're aware how I rant against PvP in general and ganking in particular).

I especially like how the OP found people who actually helped learn the system and have fun. If I had gotten such help when I started, I probably wouldn't be so against PvP, but I still would hate ganking.

I will be honest, its hard to get over the fact that i'm losing a ship. I really don't like that part, but the other parts are fun. I wish I could find more 1v1 out here, but i'll make do.

This, my fellow space nerds, is why I play eve.

Excellent post, well written and a cool story. Go forth and make more things explode my young friend.

So i'm currently flying a Drake doing L3's but I want to move up to solo L4's unless someone here has a good mission corp for a caldari pilot, In which case let me know :) . Or just a large friendly corp in general.

It seems like the raven is one of the better ships. Thats a lot of money I don't have yet, so just keep grinding L3's till I can afford to buy and fit it?

I'm open to ideas on how to make more ISK as well.

Don'y fly the Raven for another few months. Seriously. You may be space rich and a pirate and all that but ..... you are asking to get eaten flying a BS too soon.

The Drake is a classical example of a ship you will use for the rest of your space life. It's literally amazing even after being hit with the nerf bat

I have made little to no money so far. hense why i was looking for a good way to make isk at this point. Should i just stick with the Drake and do L3s? Thats what i'm getting from the post.

I dont plan to do low sec missions either, but I dont plan on getting into a raven tomorrow, im just gearing for the future.
