locking camera from movement?

is there an option to keep the camera from moving if you click an object in space *IE do not focus on new object? or disable focus?

its rather anoying when you try to track a target and the camera swings it behind the location text of were you are on the screen,
then you have to manually repan the camera so its not behind the location text anymore.

Press C to turn off tracking camera.

There a whole set of setting to the bottom left of your HUD that let you turn this on and off and use offset or not. The centered tracking camera is perfect for dscan :P
