Old strip miner sounds

CCP can we please have the old strip miner sounds back.
The old ones were so soothing, a pleasure to listen to while you mine, almost hypnotic.
The new sound is... it feels wrong

I really liked the old mining laser sound too.

It had something deeply mesmerizing.

I support this. Also can we have the colour change depending on the type of crystal used? Maybe yellow for veld, bistolt can have blue and ark can have red that kind of thing?

Can we have differnet crystals to play different sounds too?

Id like mine to play "The Entertainer", but specifically the exact version form Archer McClean's Jimmy White's Whirlwind Snooker on the Amiga.

That would be interesting... While we're at it, different colors for different crystals would be nice too.

Define "old". You mean the ones they put in with Incarna, or the gloriously powerful ones from pre-Incarna? *Those* were the best. Other gun sounds need to be brought up to that level of greatness.

Oh...... my....... god.

I got cramp laughing. I had this scenario of 20 hulks, and each beam playing this entertainer music... just as i thought it couldn't get any more hilarious.. at 1:10, you get the 'popcorn / potting' sound. I cried laughing then, in my minds eye every time asteroids popped from the 'entertainer' beams you had this popcorn sound.

The old strip miner sound definitely had more psssshhhh than the current sound.

Can we also have the old large neutron blaster back? It sounded like it really packed a punch, todays sound is just pussy :(
