Hows it going guys. I am fresh out of the upper end wormholes and looking to try something different for a while. I am seeking action and blood on a regular basis. My question is, which faction will give me the best pew opportunities in medium sized gangs, and which corporation or alliance (s) should I look into for having large enough member bases to be participating in some decent sized battles...ie cap ships and all the goodies?

Very hard to say. 99% of your time will be spend doing things that you may feel below your expectations of epic cap warfare. But will probably teach you more about EVE than you thought there was to learn.

if you want capital warfare, fw does provide content, but not a lot and not often. (ive seen 1 titan for a bridge and thats it in about a year) if thats what you are looking for, you are better off in null.

as far as soloing, small gang and fleets go (but not the giant zomgwtfpwnbbq fleets), you will find tons of stuff. just look up militia fleets in the fleet finder, there is usually something there.

as far as pvp experience and all around skill level, caldari militia is ****, gallente is good, and minmata/amarr are ok. from my experiences

Ok, ideally I'm looking for 10-50 man gudfights with the possibility of triage support.. maybe a few dreads here and there for a good time.. I'm definitely not looking for 200man+ F1 blobfleets and I'm not really interested in dealing with capital blobs or super fleets etc.

You'll get at most from FW t1 cruiser fleets with t1 logi. Numbers range from 10~50. Sometimes on a good day both militia will deploy 100 man fleets to bash an ihub/poco/pos. Triage support though... you're better off joining pirate corps for that. It's simply not economical or practical to deploy carriers and/or dreads unless they are really needed.

On your original question cal/gal WZ is more active in terms of pvp so check the area out.

Post with your NPC alt main and not your main main alt!

If you want Cap warfare, the Amarr/Minmatar warzone is for you. Undock so much as a small T1 cruiser fleet, and PL will hotdrop it with Supers.

Avoid Minmatar. The environment is toxic.

I'd say go Amarr or Caldari.

But with all the groups you'll get some of the "ye olde guarde" bullshit.

actually gal mil has been in ishtars fighting pirates more than in cruisers fighting caldari these days. if you want triage support you gotta go pirate, if u want fun fleets and good fcs, go gallente :)
