I think that manager expressed himself very well.
He wanted something like the sound of the doors of Star Trek, the Original series.
Something that was new.
Something that was normal , yet exiciting.
Something that would make people click on stuff over and over again.
Yeah...it makes all perfect sense to me. Roll

'Psssshhhh' is a term used by executives to describe something they are seeing in their heads that would otherwise make absolutely no sense to another human being. While science has been unable to determine exactly what it is, according to many executives there is simply never enough of it present in any project.

Also:

'Boosh' and 'Ka-kow' are terms that were popularized by the short lived series 'Frisky Dingo', and were used as a punctuation, exclamation, or just for no reason. Both terms express an extremely high level of awesomeness, and are frequently used together in an 'and/or' combo i.e. 'Boosh! and/or Ka-Kow!'. Executives tend not to use these terms as they to use more syllables than 'psssshhhh', and executives are all about the conservation of brain power.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

It's the sound that idiot managers make when they've never gone to school for game design and don't know about the documentation process and as a consequence can't articulate themselves in a professional manner. Seriously, CCP, send such people to Full Sail.

It's the sound a blow-off valve makes when you let off the throttle under boost.
If you owned a turbocharged car, you'd know that.

PSSHHH is kinda like flair. But it's also like panache, with a little bit of razzle-dazzle and bada-boom, along with some oomph and some zippety-zap.

sounds more like a weapon system that has a massive energy bleed somewhere and whenever the trigger is pulled, all the power is fed and immediately dumped through the failed power flow with a resounding PSSHHHhhhhhhhh.......
