Weeks ago Fuzzy Logec CEO Nekumi negotiated with Akara Ito of the Goonswarm Federation and believed that she had "bought 3JN9-Q, O-2RNZ and AGG-NR” for 30bn ISK and an agreement to supply Goonswarm with a number of capital ships per month.

Goonswarm had even offered Nekumi an escort fleet to keep Fuzzy Logec's capital production equipment secure. Fuzzy Logec jumped into EC-P8R from Torrinos, where they were met by their "escort" and summarily destroyed. Referencing an alleged lack of discipline in Goonswarm fleets, Akara Ito noted that “Everybody remembered not to shoot the first neutral appearing and we held our fire until the very last freighter was trapped.” Nekumi estimated Fuzzy Logec's losses at 8 freighters and 2 Orcas, all full of equipment.

After the rout, Akara claimed that Goonswarm faced an internal issue, with pilots dropping from the fleet to loot wrecks away from the eyes of their FC. Facing this insubordination, Akara Ito says "blues were shot at." While some pilots still managed to loot and escape unlogged, Akara notes two Chimera BPOs as some of the higher value items captured.

Nekumi said she knew very well of Goonswarm’s reputation but believed the deal to be fair. Her alliance is still seeking an agreement for ownership of a few nullsec systems, saying “If [anyone] needs an alliance who build caps (if they’re used to kill Goons, they're cheaper), we just need a few nice quiet systems.”

Akara Ito commented “I'd sell systems anytime.”








i only have a couple of questions about this.



1-Why would gooswarm do this?, are they all complete scumbags, or was there a strategic reason to do this? ( i dont know i am asking)




2-is the Mittani the leader of Goonswarm? (last i heard......) and if so was this done with his aproval? is this the kind of leader CSM needs.......?

if there were strategic reasons i would love to hear them, nothing to do with me but i am curious........

They got a couple of nice drops, a few massive-ISK killmails, and tons of fun. What more reason do you need?

this is also a good example why a lot of corps stay up in high sec. 95% of 0.0 rent ads are just that...scams. i can gurantee you if the bigger alliances actually kept their word on space, a lot more people would move into 0.0.

1- So your saying if you had the chance to possibly make a pile of isk by getting a freighter convoy to jump into your space you wouldn't take the opportunity? When the opportunity arises to make isk most pilots I know will take it and run with it. Scamming is just part of the larger EVE game play and it is one of the parts of the game that makes the best stories.

2- I cannot speak for how Goonswarm works, but from what I know Mittani is the leader but they are Goons. To see how the goons work just look at their previous leader who closed their alliance before. Its how Goons are and it makes some of the best tears and stories. Personally I applaud them for how they are. They make the game interesting and the stories that come from what they do is what brings people to EVE.

Every game needs a villain and right now it seems they are quite content to play that part in the EVE universe. (Just remember that its a matter of perspective on who you see as the villain.)

normally you screw your enemies....... there are just so many enemies you can have before they all turn against you.

Either a "you trollin?" or "u mad bro?" questions come to mind.

But really, people are doing the exactly same things on other corps/alliances in the game.
Either by suicide killing a not-so-innocent miner, ganking in high-sec, war-dec just to **** someone off.

The goons are just playing for fun. Even if it means pissing someone off (which is how you actually make fun mostly in the game when it comes to PvP).

If you get angry or pissed too much that you need to post like this, you are in the wrong game mate.

lol. Yes. Goonswarm are a bunch of childish faggots and you can't trust them, except to stab you in the back.

I am not surprised that their own pilots acted just like their FC's and became insubordinate.

The 30 billions had already been paid by the time everything went down.
