Simple indication of repeated module activation failure

The problem:
When entering warp in a Covert Ops Cloak-equipped ship, you want to activate the cloak as quickly as possible to avoid being locked. Due to the various latencies inherent in Eve, when you hit warp, it will be some time before you can engage the cloak due to the fact that you can't activate it while you still have the just-jumped cloak. The problem is that if you press the button a few times in rapid succession, you can't tell when the last activation has succeeded until a delay. This can result in an accidental activation then deactivation of the module. The core issue is that you can't tell whether the notification at the center-top of the screen is there from the last time you tried to activate the module, or if it succeeded and the message is from two times ago.

The solution:
Two possible modifications to how the notification is displayed could fix this:
- When a notification is already display and a new one is about to be, the old one should quickly fade out to provide an indication that there's a new one appearing. Without this you can't tell there are two distinct ones.
- When a module activation succeeds, the previous notification indicating that the activation attempt failed should disappear.


it's a UI issue with a fairly simple fix that has been driving me nuts lately. CCP has been doing a good job lately at improving all the UI issues like this one, keep it up guys! The game has a vastly more usable UI compared to 5 years ago.

They could just make it so you can't decloak in 1 second after cloaking by activating cloak again.

That would work too, though the duplicate notification issue applies to other modules as well - for example activating an MWD after coming out of warp. It is less of an issue since it doesn't have a reactivation delay, but it still seems worth doing a fix that would apply to the problem in a general way.
