I have never seen 4096 (or 1024 or whatever) Tengu combinations Roll

They basically look identical....or at least very similar, especially the combat pvp configs, which are extremely limited.

Seriously. They way these 'rebalance' passes are going they might as well remove modules altogether because ships are usually put together with a specific 'right fit' with some exceptions ie. choice of ewar.

Yes? 4096 bit = 500 mb(yte) iirc? Obviously your computer has more RAM than 500mb?

Eve needs 2GB ram as min requirement so you really should have more than that...

4096 bits = 512 byte. Even the Sinclair zx 81 had more RAM.

My analog pocket watch has more memory than that.

De'Veldrin's Corollary (to Malcanis' Law): Any idea that seeks to limit the ability of a large nullsec bloc to do something in the name of allowing more small groups into sov null will inevitably make it that much harder for small groups to enter sov null.

5. Trolling is prohibited.

Trolling is a defined as a post that is deliberately designed for the purpose of angering and insulting other players in an attempt to incite retaliation or an emotional response. Posts of this nature are disruptive, often abusive and do not contribute to the sense of community that CCP promote.

They were also going to implement visual modeling gadgets for all (or most) modules on a ship; still waiting to see my tracking disruptors and energy destabilizers modeled.

Ive flown T3s for a LOOOOOONG time, and there's actually quite a limited combination of modifications really, no the fanfest presentation was basically saying ALL ship hulls can be customised.

When I fly my Tengu, I have never yet thought; hmmmm, Ive actually built this ship and it looks cool and does the specific task I want it to. Hence the SPace Engineers comparison.

Link to where CCP said this please?

The presentation was from Fall 2008 Fanfest, and sadly there's a lot of stuff from that age that's hard to find now.

Also I'd like to point out to everything in this thread that CCP Still hasn't touched force recons, bombers, cov ops, HICs, or black ops significantly since their start of the epic rebalance thing they started with Inferno. Let alone capitals.

I figure once all those sub-cap hulls are taken care of though, we'll see some significant T3 changes. And as far as I can tell CCP's goal in doing these changes, when they get to them, is to make sure that T3 don't step on anyones' toes like they did to command ships, but allow every possible configuration of subsystem to be viable.

That was a toolset display, not future content.

Why the hell would CCP ever do this when they're pushing forward and expanding on cosmetic microtransactions?
