Quick question. Does the implant make your pod gold in CQ?

Nope, stays your same old green pod. Gold color only viewable in space.

Its only gold while you are inside it, when you're in CQ you're not inside your pod ergo its not golden, its simple logic really :)

No, because the CQ pod is only a static model, it has no real game mechanic tied to it nor to your player character.

Plus ccp darent do anything to the avatar side of the game as the 'shatts' (ships all of the time) wil cause a **** storm and winge about lack of development of the space game.

Dumbing down of Eve Online will result in it's destruction...

If remember the lore correctly, this mod doesn't change the pods actual color. It replaces the pod color with a gold overlay that your camera drones report back to you. So, when not in space there are no active cam drones. No drones = no gold overlay.

OP's expectation makes sense though, since the ship right next to the pod in CQ will change based on active ship.

CCP probably figures that so few people actually use the CQ, that there is no need to make this change.
