I see your point, I just don't agree with it.
And you know, this has been coming for some time now, there's been plenty of time to voice concerns .

I know, I wasn't really prepared for it, but more changes will come in the future.
I just want what I said to be taken into consideration, at least.
The old models still exist in the game as rats, so I'm gonna cross my fingers that someone from ccp will think it isn't too bad of an idea.

The only thing I don't get is that people are so concerned about how their ships look. Unless you're in a capital or above, being zoomed in enough to see your ship means you're missing a lot of critical, at-a-glance information that the tactical grid provides.

When you're zoomed out enough to make use of your grid, your ship (any ship but a capital or above) is basically just a spec or small blob in the middle.

Talk is cheap, but Void S and Quake L are cheaper.

Uhm, read my first post again, all the way through this time and see that it makes sense.
Completely removing old flyable models actually takes away content from the game.
I don't mind changes or adding stuff to the eve universe, but at what cost?
This time it was just the moa, but the next time they might turn the machariel into a flying, pink block of cheese.
Let's see you all "adapt" to that.

I rest my case.

Your case is flawed

Replacing one thing with another does not reduce or add content at all

I know at least one person Ive tempted into returning with the Condor and Moa redesigns

Any one unsubbing due to the change from limbless giraffe?

Anyone?

My favorite thing about this latest update was being able to take my old Moa to the backyard and put it out of its misery...

The new model looks great, but thinking that I will never, ever be able to fly the old moa again is sad.

I miss the old Badger / Badger Mark II and all their antennas. Since the polygon reduction effort, all ships based on these models look bald, like turtles now.

Things change, especially in design. And in many cases the changes could not just be rolled back, because the new stuff is built on another platform or technology.

Besides, this is not the first or the last time ship models got changed. Blast from the past moment here.

Oh god I forgot how much the old scorp sucked...

So the idea I had in my second post should make a lot of people happy. Point still stands.
