Faction Warfare mission changes

Faction Warfare has had many iterations in the last few years. Mostly notable the introduction of sovereignty. Other than affecting the LP payouts, these changes have had very little affect on missions.

FW missions where designed to send you into hostile territory. This doesn't take into account the changing in sovereignty and sends you to systems based on who originally owned the system.

Proposal #1: I would like to see FW missions take into account sovereignty and send you to systems that is currently occupied by the opposing faction.

With the introduction of station lockout owning a system actually means something. If a mission station is captured, the opposing faction should want to retake it. For missioners they can still go to high-sec to get missions. This reduces the need to retake mission systems because there is always a "safe" place to get them.

Proposal #2: Move level all FW missions agents expect for maybe level ones to low-sec. If a faction's mission system is captured there would be a reason to retake it.

I agree on both fronts. I did a FW mission the other day and noticed I was in a system controlled by my faction, thought it was strange that I could easily dock up and refit if I needed to.

I have also noticed that many of the systems missions happen in are not contested at all. Many times I am the only one in local. I feel like it would be better to have the missions run in systems with high recent activity, even if that means fewer jumps to get there.

That is a great idea! It would be like how Dust spawns battles in systems that have a high plexing activity.

I agree with moving all the agents to lowsec. However, I disagree with sending them ONLY into enemy systems. I understand the logic behind it, but I think you would choke off the entire point of upgrading a warzone past a certain point if it is next to impossible to actually profit from it (especially in light of the recent tweaks to plexing making afk, 3 day old alts almost impossible to use).

If it is a "contribution" you are looking for, I would suggest keeping mission locations as they are (perhaps randomize them a little more) but then allow the completition of a mission to act like a plex: make it give the same number of victory points as a large plex (since that's essentially what they are) that would contribute to the capturing or defense of a system.
