Stasis-turm. Turm is German for tower.

Assuming that was a serious question, of course.

There is an audible difference between Stasis-Turm and Stasi-Sturm, due to the fact that Sturm—but not …s-Turm—is pronounced /shturm/.
In other news: I really like the new station skins, and my ugly old Moa has suddenly transformed into a bird of great beauty. Highly impressed. Big smile

Yeah - that's what I was trying to indicate with the hyphen, without getting too technical.

Though I overall agree with your notion I must correct you on at least one issue. - No skillpoints or skills are lost, 2 are renamed and one replaced by two. CCP even went so far as give you the same level for both if you had trained only one of the options (highest). I didn't lose one skill or point, but could have rather saved 10 days if I had gotten this info earlier.

And though I heard the Moa works, the Rattlesnake doesn't and I left it in station after a check, very sad, very disappointing.


Where is the 5% drone damage bonus per level that CDO V provided over those who didn't train the skill? Player A trained CDO to V, player B trained CDO to IV. Now they have the same drone damage. This is by definition a removal of the skill, and it was not reimbursed when it should have been.

Love the new look for Condor hulls. The missile launcher placement on the Crow looks a little odd, though, having a launcher under the wing, and an empty hardpoint at the end. Why not have both of the hardpoints on the end of the wing filled, instead of putting a luancher underneath? Aside from that, I've been waiting for years for my Crow to look this good!

Can you redo the Caracal next? :)

Well, I am not gonna argue this much more, but you have seen, maybe even experienced but hopefully understood how reimbursement works and is understood in EVE ?! - Basically it follows the principal of 'if you could fly it before ... '

And what you are complaining about is not losing skillpoints (which you aren't) but rather losing and advantage over others with less training .. buhuhu No skill has been lost, all 5% boni are there.

And I thought we were on the same wavelength before ... you are hurting the cause. Complain about some real issues and stop feeling hurt.

Okay, before Kronos I had an Anshar loaded with supplies for my POS totalling in excess of 300k m3. Now after patch I can only get in 171k m3 (without anything in the lows).

Added expanded cargohold II and the cargo hold is upto 356k m3, structure 121k (dropped from 237k) and speed 75.6m/s (dropped from 97.5 m/s)

If this isn't a big old nerf I dunno what is Oops

We're not on the same wavelength since you think this was a good, well thought out change. Oh no, it wasn't at all made on a whim without consideration of all the consequences... "oh yeah, oops some people won't be able to use the drones that they could use before... lets throw SDO in there as well then good point". And lets forget about T2 sentries and T2 DLA while we're at it. Yes, great changes. Not at all a better way to do it.

Skills are not reimbursed based on the "if you could fly it before" principle - if that were the case it means you could just remove many other skills from the game and that would be ok. They are reimbursed based on the "are they useless now" principle.

"losing an advantage over others with less training" Ugh that's exactly what a skill removal is... buhuhu is right. Clearly many players were upset about this.

Either way, none of the changes I listed were good for the game. The drone skill changes in particular did nothing but create resentment toward CCP - a great way to spread word of mouth and keep the subs going that's for sure. Best for everyone... yeah... not worth the extra 10 minutes to think about the skill changes in more detail.

Anyway, I really don't want to argue about it, especially not in this thread which is for feedback to CCP. I've said my opinion and explained it as best I can.

Found a Sound bug! (Eng)

The ship's propulsion system (without MWD / afterburner) has a sound bug. Every few seconds you can hear a clicking noise!
If you've heard it once, you hear it all the time. X

It is extremely disturbing! Oops


Fand einen Sound Bug (Ger)

Der Schiffsantrieb (ohne MWD/afterburner) hat einen Sound bug. Alle paar sekunden hört man ein Knacken.
Wenn man es einmal gehört hat, hört man es die ganze zeit. X

Es ist extrem Störend! Oops

Fozzie my man, this is not called updating your dev blog properly. It took you nearly 2 months to update that blog. You finally get to it with a measly 3 days before the patch is released...

Fozzie, let's be real brother. You accidentally mislead us with information and it took you way too long to update us with the new information properly. As a result a many user have been screwed over, losing anywhere from 8-40 days of skillpoints depending on how many alts they have.

I am not asking for reimbursement or anything like that anymore. It's likely too late. I am asking you to realize your screw up here, so that in the future it does not happen again.
You need to make sure to update the blog immediately when you announce a new change, and you need to inform CCP that we need a way to subscribe (through RSS or EVEmail) to such changes.

EDIT: I see your dev blog was in fact bumped to the top when you updated it 3 days ago. So perhaps the RSS feed currently in place is fine... and the issue really is that you forgot/didnt think to update the actual blog itself.
Sorry if I'm coming down hard on you, but if you don't realize what went wrong here it will happen again. And again.

Oh yeah... also would like to say the new sounds are pretty spiffy. Like being able to turn the sounds off on inactive clients. That's why I rarely used sounds is because I normally have 2 or 3 clients running at the same time. Looks like I will be having them on now since the other clients will mute when they are in the background. Lol

It would be great if you could make these new sites despawn faster. I have found a couple that were already empty, and the sigs have stayed there for a while. They should despawn as fast as data/relic sites when they're finished. Just my opinion.

As someone else said in the wrong place - don't hype this as a six week release. CCP has been at it for months and you slipped schedule on several items for this release as it is.

This IS the first release of their 6 week cycle. Please read the dev blog about it and understand it before you comment about it.

6 week cycle DOES NOT MEAN that they only work for 6 weeks on each project . It just means that every 6 weeks, whatever is ready will be included with that release. That could mean 1 six week cycle could have 50 things patched in that was worked on for only a few days, and 1 great big thing that has been worked on for a few years.

What CCP Phantom said was correct. This is the first patch of their 6 week release program. Their entire patching method and how patches deployed to the server has changed today starting with Kronos.


Doesnt matter how you spin it, it still means they will screw things up and break the game 10 times a year instead of twice.

Great expansion! I am a big fan of the new sound settings, pirate ship rebalancing, the removal of the loot scattering, and the new Mordu's Legion ships.

Good job on the sentries they cant track anything anymore.. and here we were told Bouncer would get a buff to tracking I guess not.. Frigs 60km away with 4 OMNI's and tracking script yet you can't track them while they are flying at you. GOOD JOB CCP.
I guess that was the point doh to kill sentries next time how about you tell us straight up and spare us the bullshit. I guess gallente are dead again.

Also great new deployment cycle instead of getting a ****** expansion twice a year along with all the disappointment we can now have that awesome feeling every six weeks.

OK just when I didn't think the models could get any worse after the Corax (flies backwards) or that even more atrocious Cruciifer (I haven't flown one since) I see the new Phoon and Gila. The new Phoon looks like a poor anime version of Battlestar Galatica .. way to fat and compact. The new Moa/Oynx/Gila, I don't even know where to start other it is going in my Crucifier pile as a ship I will never fly again. It's like somebody took a Prophecy, stripped over all the curves exposing the triangular internal structure, painted it grey, and called it a day. I'm all for the v3 shader project or ship models that are improvements or keep the same feel but what I'm seeing is horrible. It's like CCP got a new graphic developer who is a princess and feels all his stuff is better than the old stuff so he needs to rebrand it all in his image. In the future can you all stick to model improvements (better shaders, removing pointless annoying spotlights, tweaks here and there).

I'm also annoyed at the lack of release movie. We waiting six months on this and while CCP told us making video's was too expensive and not worth their time they did promise us "When we have bigger things going on, we will make videos and other materials about it to show it off and spread the news - but we will focus on either some big feature we have in the making or on EVE Online in general - not the combination of all changes we are making in a certain release. ". Given the large number of changes going on here between a new faction, new ship designs, drones, etc one might think this would warrant "bigger things going on".

Still annoyed I can't named my jump clones, maybe I will be able to in six weeks.
