NeX (Noble Exchange) ---> New Eden Store

Everything is done for a reason. What was the reason for this?

New Eden Store sounds nicer? But honestly its probably to distance itself for the rage that happened when it was introduced.

Now, more than ever, we need a dislike button.

So we don't think of the New Eden Store as the way CCP is going to sneak in p2w like they were trying with NeX when it first came out.

more mobile coneumer friendly.

look at the UI. It's meant for tablets and phones too.
they even mentioned it at fanfest.

well imo if they are going to combine all the games to one, New Eden Store is better for all games then NeX. If they use the same design for the store in Legion (which will be F2P i think) and Valk (which might have F2P elements) Then if everything is in new eden having the store a single easy to understand name makes sense.

Probably for several of the reasons why businesses rebrand themselves or services they offer:

- to relaunch
- because the store has changed significantly
- to differentiate itself from the NeX and the reputation that developed around it
- because the store is becoming a more developed/mature offering in the game

Obviously only CCP can give a definitive answer, but each of those seems relevant to the launch of the NES and removal of the NeX.

I'm not sure I'm ok with that. It should be forced to live with the reputation it has built for itself.
Maybe if there's an entry in its employment history or something indicating that it was previously known as Noble Exchange...

Their way of moving on to bigger and better things, I guess.

"Tomahawks?"

"----in' A, right?"

"Trouble is, those things cost like a million and a half each."

"----, you pay me half that and I'll hump in some c4 and blow the ---- out of it my own damn self."
