Finally got myself a decent gaming PC (custom-built, my friends.... it's really the way to go), and upon installing EVE on my new box, I now have the old launcher and the login screen.

Have I accidentally unleashed an ancient curse or something?

(Not trolling... totally serious. I can provide screenshots with time/date stamp if anyone doesn't believe me)

Yes, you can get some cool stuff for real money that MIGHT give you an advantage if you actually know how to use it.... but if you suck at FPS, you're still going to burn down.
Last night, with my C-bill purchased Dragon, I took down a Loup de Guerre (the special version Trebuchet), without even breaking a sweat, and that little guy is supposed to be able to make short work of pretty much anything "normal", with a moderately skilled player at the controls.
