Well at least now we won't have people crying 'where is da patchnotes!' 1 second after downtime ends. Cool

If it happens in the weeks before a major release then it's likely a patch to deliver some of the content (hidden from the players) of that release. They do this to break up the downloads into chunks for players so the transition is easier.

It's probably a big part of why expansion downtime has been shorter and shorter each time.

Enjoying the rain today? ;)

People will either ***** if you give them a reason to or find a reason to ***** if you don't. I myself find the whole damn list of changes quite enjoyable, with really the only exception being the freighter rebalance. Just the words "freighter" and "rebalance" being put together in the same sentence implies that it should not have been done. Hell, there's even a few nice little surprises in it, like the module reload timers (nice one, CCP!).

"Tomahawks?"

"----in' A, right?"

"Trouble is, those things cost like a million and a half each."

"----, you pay me half that and I'll hump in some c4 and blow the ---- out of it my own damn self."

He probably has a life.
See, not all players live with their nose up EVE's butt. Sometimes information is missed.

Well its a good thing anyone at any time can go to the information portal and find the information they may have missed

Now, more than ever, we need a dislike button.

Yeah they need to support suicidal miners with more money than sense more.

I support this product or cervix

"A singular character could be hired to penetrate another corps space... using gorilla like tactics..." - Chane Morgann
