If it can apply to POS why not POCO also...

Is that my two cents or yours?

They might see more use if they can be used on a POCO.

If you don't follow the rules, neither will I.

What about siphoning in highsec?

Suspect flag for attacking siphon unit?

Thing with pocos is they collect when you cash out, if you could use a poco on it the players that dont own poco would drop siphon when they take stuff out to mitigate costs, that's not a very nice mechanic.

EvE-Mail me if you need anything.

Exactly and exactly...

Player still pay the tax to move the stuff to POCO, you just get a limited amount of the goods on top of being taxed

Did not know siphon was a nice thing to do.... my bad I had no idea we were trying to be nice

So when POCO owners put them up and tax you on top of the tax they already take from you...

So before I bring my hauler out to gather PI loot I bring a battleship and vaporize your MSU....

More free killmails works for me.

Which immediately gets you redlisted and prevented from ever using any POCO owned by that corp. Good job champ.

Kill mails don't stop people from using MTU so why should it here

Is that my two cents or yours?

Why should I care if I don't get to use the POCOS of a corp that is stealing from me?

It won't, and that wasn't the point. The point is, it's so absurdedly simple to bypass that there would be no point in trying to implement it. Unlike moon mining, transfering mats to a POCOS requires direct action by the player transfering the mats. This cannot be made an automatic process, so there's no profit cause any PI toon will see it when they warp to the POCOS to move thier mats.

Instead of siphoning off the POCOS, try a planetary structure or sattelite that will leech off the planet's PI chain.

Then poco has no meaning... No idea how to balance that

Is that my two cents or yours?

+1 for the idea

May be one out of X production cycles would end up as material in the siphon instead of being routed through the PI links...
It could also be used to bypass the interbus or corp poco taxes, while putting the siphoned material at risk as soon as they are produced, rather than just when they are being collected...

I just wish we could scoop them back up to the cargo hold, then I would be happy.

It's not theft, it's a convenience tax.

That tax is already being paid for the convenience of using the pocos, so again, I just blow up your siphon unit and carry on with my PI.
