Atlanta Area Gathering - May 29th

True, the location in question isn't huge, but it should be more than enough for our purposes. We've gotten a lot more people than showed up to last year's DragonCon event into this place before, so no worries on that.

We're looking forward to seeing all of y'all out there this Thursday. As for those that can't make it, don't worry. We'll likely be doing something on a weekend for the next one, with more advanced notice as well.

Good enough for me.

Do we know what the under 21 rules are at that bar? My brother is 20 (yet has been playing since he was like 14) and wanted to come along too.

I'm 20, and I've been to most all of them. You don't need to be of age to enter, only to consume their booze (which isn't all they have).

Basically this. They serve food and soft drinks as well. It isn't just a bar and no one has to drink.

I'm pretty sure have to drink.

Also you guys should totally check out Battle & Brew. They are in the process of moving to a larger location. I've played EVE there a few times and they are always intrigued. (apparently they don't get to many people playing EVE there). It's a awesome place to hang out, have a few beers / crazy awesome food and maybe login to show off some sweet stuff.

The nice thing about Mac Mcgee's, its right next to the Decatur Marta station.

My fiance' and I should be there, traffic permitting. The commute from Cherokee County to Decatur at 6pm should inspire fear and awe in anyone, though admittedly not as bad as the commute from Decatur to Cherokee County at the same time. That should inspire self-podding.

I would like to say thank you to all that were able to attend! We had more people show up than we were expecting which was a very positive sign for the community!

Definitely was a blast!
Needs to happen more often!

I wasn't expecting prizes so that was pretty sweet. I don't think anyone, including the bar, was quite ready for as many people as we ended up having.

I'm glad everyone had fun. I know we did. A lot more of y'all showed than I originally expected, and that's always great. I'm looking forward to the next event, Soon™.
