I miss the old blue explosions. You knew when a player ship exploded. It always made me think of the Honor Harrington novels when they talked about the ships fusion bottle blowing, and that's how I always visualized it happening. Plus the bright blue splosions made it easier to see people dying in grainy Youtube vids!

I also miss the old torpedo explosions too. Back in the day, when you were being torped down by a group of bombers... you ******* knew it.. and so did everyone else!

Dat old torpedo explosions looked like the could kill half a continent the size of europe. Straight

Stupidity should be a bannable offense.

Fighting back is more fun than not.

The old blue explosions were one of the best parts of PVP. +1 for bringing them back.

I could take of leave torp-explosions. It's not that I didn't like the super novas they spat out. It is that they were nothing special after you've seen a hundred of them. I admit, torps today don't look anything special after you zoom out of their extremely nice animation. They're sort of like a bigger heavy missile now. Not to much impact.

When you all love over the top effects, why did CCP remove it?

The crazy thing is, CCP still enjoys over the top effects. When you're in the pilot seat of a LMJD, the jump ahead is pretty flashy. Maybe not blue explosion satisfaction levels, but it certainly takes over the screen for a brief moment.

Truely the older blue explosions are better. I'd like to see that over what we have.
