Where the hell do I find pirate BPCs?

Where's the best spot to find pirate BPCs, from frigate to battleship sizes? Just scanning down DED complexes?

I think (been a while, so probably wrong) that it's the pirate faction LP stores.

If you don't want to run missions for pirates, yes. Pirate complexes sometimes drop appropriate BPCs. Drone complexes drop nexus chips for SOE-ships (only sentient drones) and the new Mordus Legion ships will have special belt rats in LowSec sometimes dropping BPCs.

Generally you get the frig bpc in high sec , the cruiser in low and the BS in null plexes.
There is some cross over and if you google each plex you will see the exact bpc that drops.
I currently live in gurista space and so get mainly Rattlesnake with a few gila bpc.
If i lived near a Gurista agent in npc null i could run mission for them in an AF or equiv and quickly earn LP for all the bpc.

You can also find pirate BPC's from killing the Kundalini Manifest within incursions.
