Simple question on blueprints

I've been trying to make isk with exploration lately and can't figure out what to do with blueprints. Maybe all of mine are worthless but does someone have a resource on how I can price these? Many of them don't have contracts on the market so I can't compare. I was also thinking maybe it's better to try to research (correct?) my tech I into tech II but I'll have to learn how to do that.

An all-in-one focused on selling blueprints would be good if it exists. I found tutorials on blueprints but they lack how to price these things and what to do with the ones that won't sell.

Selling blueprint ?

If you want to sell them WITHOUT researching them, you can do it with just BPOs that are not easily accessible (like ORE ones, covetor, for example).

Or you need to research them, and problems will be:

1. finding an empire slot to research them
2. plant a pos to do it, in this case you should carefully have a plan to justify the fuel price and make the operation sustainable

Feel free to ask if you want more info or if i am missing something.

If you're talking about blueprints which you found through exploration, they're all BPCs, which means that they cannot be further researched.

However, as the once you'll have are pretty much all gained this way, it's not a concern.

As for pricing them for sale, look at the profitability of them (https://www.fuzzwork.co.uk/blueprints/) and price them so that someone who buys them from you can still make a reasonable profit by doing so.

It should be noted some are not worth making. Like target spectrum breakers, for example.

After reading some more I meant to say "Invention" rather than "Research". I'll read up some more on invention but that site has a lot of detail. I'll spend some time looking into it.

Thanks for the help!

Exploration bpc are not useful for invention. They are faction blueprints or don't have t2 counterpart or both. You can sell o manufacture.

Really? Then I'm confused how some claim much higher isk/hour on relic/data sites. I only have 10-20m /hour even discarding searching for systems to scan and avoiding bubbles. When I get some time I'll have to see if I can price these Tech 1's using the tool mentioned above to hopefully make my efforts worthwhile. obviously, I enjoy the scanning... I just want to make sure I can make enough to replace my ships + some extra cushion for other stuff.

You can absolutely do better than 10-20m per hour.

When you are trying to improve your isk/hour, it is a good idea to keep some kind of records of what you do and what results you get. Without actual records, you'll run the risk of optimising based on false assumptions. Look at how well you do from particular types of site, in particular areas of space, at particular times of day, etc. Optimise based on the data and you'll make more isk.

Check to be sure but most of those BPC's are worthless, I just jettison them, but I have gotten 2 faction POS turret BPC's from lowsec that I sold for 20mil each. And with the isk/hr, Highsec is horrible, relic are only good for scoping trash and data sites can bring in about 5mil each, Low-sec is ok on both sites, then in Null it's flipped, Data aren't that good but relic can bring in 20-100mil per site.
