Can't see ships on Eve Online.

I am trying to use the ship viewer on Eve Online's homepage but nothing shows up but a blank space when I use it.
Am I doing something wrong?

Try a different browser... I forget what it needs for the viewer, but Chrome works.

The ship viewer requires a browser featuring HTML5 Canvas with WebGL support. You can see a table of various browsers' support for this feature here: http://caniuse.com/webgl

I have personally only tried and had it work in recent versions of Firefox and Chrome.

Edit: also, check that your browser/graphics card combination is not blacklisted for WebGL support. This is still sort of experimental/emerging technology, which is the reason for all these quirks. It's not quite an industry standard yet.

Chrome is evidently what I need to use.
I notice some of the ships are different from the ship viewer/size comparison videos on youtube.
Such as the Amarr recon cruiser "Curse" seems new.
Do they change out ship styles when they do their larger updates?

Yup

How does that work if you own one of the ships they are changing out?
What happens to everything you have on the ship?

Chrome is what you should have always been using.
