15mil SP player, curious what I should try/develop next?

Hey all,

Been playing EVE since last fall, 15mil SP in, and kinda stuck. To list a few of the things I've done thus far:
- Lived in corps big and small, in HS, LS, NS, and WH.
- Done PvE, 30+ fleet PvP (nothing huge, mostly roams and NS camps)
- Mining, light industry, light station trading
- Exploration, both LS and null (**** WH sites)

Currently, in a smaller low-sec corp, doing frig roams, L4 missions, and some mining.

I'm kinda feeling like EVE is getting stale to me, and I'm not sure what to skill nor try out/develop next. I love this game, but there are three things I'd like to do currently:
- Actually PLEX for once
- Develop PvP skills
- Have funs

I can fly all t1 subcaps, t2 frigs, and t3 (all gallente). What would you suggest I try out or look to develop, whether it be skills, professions, or activities? Anything to get my goals accomplished would be fantastic, just trying to keep having fun with this stellar game. Cheers!

If your 15 mil SP and can fly all T1 subcaps, T2 frigs, and a proteus then I suggest you train some support skills up.

Sounds like you have tried too much and specialized too little and bounced between groups too much to find a place that's truly home. Find a good home first, ask what they need more of, accommodate skill plan to match.

Train AWU V. I finally got around to put it in my skill queue. Other than that I still stay in FW casually due to RL. Can't get enough eve time to actually enjoy it.

Post with your NPC alt main and not your main main alt!

Try to develop the strength to quit Eve before you become hooked.

We do not, as a matter of habit, double blueberry donuts.

However, if you would see fit to package half again as many plain cake donuts with your blueberry donuts, we would be able to double them, as we are currently experiencing a glut of plain cake donuts in the doubling market.

Personally i am very much an advocate of having goals in EvE.
My alliance is entirely a pvp based group and people mainly want to roam, kill spaceships , not shoot structures and to get the occaisional 200-300 man fleet fight.
We found that people tire of this and stop logging in even though this is what they said they wanted and what we provide.
I suggested that we set a goal to take Geminate.
This is in no way feasible for us as the owners outnumber us 20-1. can form up 100 man Bs gang with super support etc.
We are working hard on this goal via various means including a lot of structure shooting (which they said they hated).
The result was a dramatic increase in people logging in and performing the various tasks set by the leadership.
Having a goal provided us with more varied activities and more fleet fights and more people logging in.
The only people not enjoying it are the current owners.
Anyway decide what you enjoy and then set some goals.
Or find a group with goals you like and join them.

I have ten times that many SP and I'm not bored yet. Figure out what it is that you most enjoy doing and do that thing. There's always more to learn.

Train up Margin Trading V, and start up some margin scams.

Even CCP pointed out how some "boring" style activities will be done if a goal is in place - the old POS system for SOV control being an example of this for nullsec residents.

People hated it but would show up and be involved in the efforts to take down all those towers and such because the goal included getting those things out of the way.

A mix of activities is best for the most players. Few can handle doing "exactly what I want" all the time. That gets to be like eating the icing off a cake as "the best part".

As such, having a goal that requires a mix of things (collecting enough ships & supplies, blowing up structures, fleet ops, etc.) - means people are mixing it up and not just doing the same thing every day.

You should take up smuggling as a career.

Oh wait, Han Solo isn't a career offered by EvE.

Just mine I guess...

I've noticed a lot of pilots who PVP'd for years have headed back into high-sec for some villainy. So perhaps set up some goal/roleplay and head on down to carebear land and give us some harassment. Big smile

It's just more financially viable for me.
