Is this game just not for me?

The game is not for you if you don't have fun while losing, often horribly.

I genuinely enjoy Eve Online and have fun whether I'm racking up killmails or taking the pod express home. Winning is great, but if losing isn't still fun, then you're taking internet spaceships too seriously.

A thought-- why not just take your aggression out on some random, hapless soul? You aren't using all that sec status anyway. The great thing about New Eden is...if you can't find the guy you want to kill, you can always just murder the first person to cross your path and blow off some steam that way. Big smile

This is so true.

Best EVE moment of the last couple months for me was losing a ship to an excellently laid trap. I then went and killed three other people to let off steam.

I support the New Order and CODE. alliance. www.minerbumping.com

Those are not losses in your combat log. They are a list of pilots that will provide extra fun when you see them explode.

Awesome way to look at it.

it appears that the members of your corp lack certain parts of male anatomy while being parts of female anatomy themselves.

I should buy an Ishtar.

Perhaps - or it could be E-Uni. "hundreds of blues in local" -- not many groups have that many friendlies in highsec. Also the "book program" and such... It sounds a lot like E-Uni.

Aldrat being home base - the jump distance to nullsec is pretty far (wildlands being closest to Aldrat) to round trip it - hours out and back.

If someone wanders off and gets popped floating around null... No you won't find a lot of those at our HQ area willing to go run off to some odd system in nullsec like that and we run highsec wars all the time so plenty of "hostiles" come around the HQ system with different quantities of ships - small gangs through fleets.

People lose ships all the time in the Uni, across every conceivable space in the game. With lowsec, nullsec and wormhole campuses, those interested in living in those areas JOIN the appropriate campus to live there and learn how to operate in that type of space.

Seriously - what other group would have hundreds in local when you pop at a home station, with newbies around like the OP , with skillbook programs and such? Only a few groups could fit that kind of description.

You miss the point of things often? Seems more an RL problem to me. Might be youth related.

Reopen the EVE gate so we can invade Serenity. Goons can go first.
