Not a new topic but something that drives me crazy every day:

CCP, fix the interdictors! It is not acceptable that interdictor bubbles do not create any aggro timer!

Its null and they are in a bubble. Just shoot them.

OP doesn't like that a dictor can bubble both sides of a gate. Never had a problem with this.

You're young, you'll adjust. I'm old, I'll get used to it.

I cant, because he will jump threw the gate or dock in station.

If a warp-disruptor module creates an aggro-timer a bubble should do the same.

Mind you, I've been away for a while, but I thought 'dictor bubbles only caused aggro if they actually interrupted someone's warp? There shouldn't be any aggro until the 'dictor bubble actually aggresses something. If you drop a bubble on a gate with no other ships on grid (EDIT: or none try to warp) and immediately jump, who are you aggressing?

I call working as intended.

Today the mechanic is so that even if the bubble prevents someones warp, the dictor does not get any aggro.

Okay, that is interesting. Out of curiosity, did this change happen around the same time as 'ceptors got immunity to warp bubbles? Maybe CCP was intending them to be the ones hunting down the 'dictors.

Also...where did I hide those Sabres....

EDIT: Related question: do 'dictor pilots still get on killmails if their only contribution to a kill is their bubble? I'd be surprised if the answer was "yes" given what you've told me.

Yes, they do.

It's relevant because it means a Sabre can do something like bubble a hostile gang on a gate and then jump through to safety (or to bubble them on the other side as well before jumping back to where they started) or keep the undock to an NPC Null station bubbled indefinitely.

I'm not necessarily complaining about either of these things, mind you. The latter is somewhat annoying to people staging capitals out of NPC space, but the former is pretty integral to an Interdictor's survival as part of a small gang.

I'd be happy if initiating warp in a bubble would give the dictor aggro. I could care less otherwise, but its pretty lame to see some bot undock, bubble, and dock.

Yes you can. Take the gate after him. Or just have your fleet alpha him. Its only a destroyer hull after all.

You aren't hanging around a gate or station solo with an agro timer are you?

Press the warp button on a celestial while you're bubbled. It will give the bubbler a weapons timer.

I think.

A good Interdictor pilot is actually pretty hard to catch thanks to the new changes. For fleet work, for example, I'm likely to be flying around in a Sabre with a minimum of 16K ehp that can crash a gate a 3k/sec while having a 50% bonus bonus to MWD sig bloom, then as a worst-case resort just pulse MWD and cloak up coming out the other side.

The issue is things like dictors undocking, launching a bubble and insta docking
