Starting again after just about 2 years of inactivity, and I've read there are a lot of changes made in New eden.
need to get some wealth again, and picked the safe way of mission running, like a true carebear!

Which would be the best L4 mission agent(or corporation) for a sentry Dominix?
Or the best hub, with multiple agents for the same corporation..

High sec missions only, though I don't mind being close to lowsec.

One of the interesting changes to the game is the agent finder. It'll allow you to browse agents by types of missions, location, levels, region etc. You'll find that just above the agent window in a station, right below the various station services.
It should give you all the answers you're looking for.

Thank you for your response.
I was already looking into the agent finder, and it seems to be quite useful indeed.

However, my question also referred to what type of faction I should run for. Which would give me missions most suited for my ship? If there is any difference at all in the kind of missions the different faction agents give

You're looking for security agent. Other than that, they all draw from the same pool of missions. And there's not much a Domi can't do anyway.

if u can manufacture stuff i would look for corperations who have l4 security agents and 5 run faction bpc.
Otherwise Dominix is a good allrounder bit low on max dps.

This is a fit i would use stat wise against angel, also it is tight and paperthin tanked.
Drone Control Range: 112km
Lock Range: 113km
Garde Range in 1x Falloff: 90km
DPS: 824 (Drones: 751 dps)
Tank Angel 260dps
Cap Life: 6minutes

[Dominix, armor miss]

2x Drone Link Augmentor II
4x 1200mm Heavy 'Scout' Artillery I (Depleted Uranium L)

Large Micro Jump Drive
3x Omnidirectional Tracking Link II (Optimal Range Script)
Sensor Booster II

Large Armor Repairer II
2x Energized Explosive Membrane II
Energized Kinetic Membrane II
3x Drone Damage Amplifier II

Large Auxiliary Nano Pump I
Large Ancillary Current Router I
Large Drone Scope Chip I

5x Warden II
5x Garde II

PS.: U normally get more missions against the rats in your vicinity

Sisters, because of LP value. use fuzzworks to determine which other corps are valuable. for an immobile ship with its best weapon system deployed, the domi is actually a suprisingly good blitzer, and doesn't care much about ewar either, so even if you choose a corp other than Sisters, or an agent that isn't gallente, its still pretty good.

Just a question here, but does the agent finder tell me if the storyline missions that pop up every so often are likely to send me into low-sec as well,as my current guy does frequently? I'm coming back after several years as well, and I'd prefer to stay out of low-sec at this point, until I feel I'm ready and can afford to replace my Domi if I lose it,as it's not cheap.

Missions into low sec are linked to being close to a low sec system and not the agent himself. If there are no low sec system within 1-2 jumps, it's unlikely you will ever be asked to go there.

as has been stated before, the dominix can run pretty much any mission for any faction (with a little practice). if your goal is good ISK/hour, you can't go wrong with sisters of eve. their lp store items are always in high demand, so the lp value is high and stable.

I should buy an Ishtar.

Where did you get these numbers?

The computer says DCR:108km , Garde II range:63+23km

(and i hope you realize that those 4 guns give you exactly 24dps over 4x dda II gardes II with no guns if your 824dps is accurate)

i know, actually guns on a armor domi r pretty worthless still i add them and dont forget they r arties their dps is always crap ^^.

Drone Controle Range is easy math also i have to appologize i used the blackeagle not the t2 stats. so u r correct with 108km (sry confused them). For the range 3 omni and one t1 scope with max skills is what eft tells me 66.942m optimal + 23034 falloff
with t2 scope it would give me 3km extra on gardes.

EDIT: thats the fit u meant

and yeah u r right also i developed away from the domi and now love my raven navy.

Its more like 68.8 with 3x t2 scope (yes yes penalty), but thats not important, i was more curious about having a mjd and then fighting @80km and having tank rigs playstyle wise.

Personally i go for 160km on wardens and bouncers (which you have, but not the control range or targeting), makes stuff like bonus room less chaotic and in most mission i dont have to slowboat anywhere (like cruises that do 600dps but full damage to small and fast stuff and no tp needed).

0.5 Sisters agent for sure. With Security Connections V you get up to 9400 LP per mission which is 20 mill ISK at current Sisters ISK/LP ratio.

Lanngisi is my choice as its only two jumps from Hek.

Just do not bling the Domi as SOE mission hubs are 'nado gank central. They mainly chase Pirate BS and Marauders though, most of the time T2 fitted Domis are ignored.

Plus Lanngisi means Angels which are vulnerable to bouncers, the current best sniping sentry.

Since the omni nerf bouncers are probably the best sniping sentry as they are all falloff.

Pre- nerf I was targeting out to 160 km and hitting with bouncers with full effect past that range.

post nerf I refitted the Domi with two targeting rigs to free up a mid and put a nano pump in the remaining rig slot and now target and shoot at 120 km with the bouncers (three omnis and 4 DDA dropping back to three DDA and more tank for very high incoming DPS missions).

Where did you get this calculation for the optimal sentry range from? Is there a good program for? Why is it so hard to figure it out? The optimal range for every other weapon seems pretty easy to find. Please help me out.

Use EFT or PYFA tool. You can configure not only the ship with all the modules, but also your character, which gives you exact value of YOUR optimal range.
