Does the BR's cargo immunity to scanning extend to Concord and transporting drugs through high-sec?

I am not 100% sure on this as I have not tested it myself, but I met someone in a gas cloud once and I asked that same question as I had been thinking about getting into drug production, and he told me that CONCORD was still able to scan his blockade runner. Could be wrong though. As far as I know he was lying to me so I wouldn't try to get in on his market...

Only way to find out is to lie about it and test it.

CONCORD and faction police arent the same thing. You dont get a CONCORD response from smuggling.

Tested it on sissy and no, you are not scan immune.

Okay sorry, his ship was still able to be scanned by whatever agency decides that drugs are a no-no. Looks like he actually wasn't lying then! Really disappointing, I was hoping that'd be a very specific role for blockade runners.

Well, the reason I point that out is because you cannot get away from CONCORD. However, you CAN get away from the faction navy. Even though the blockade runner is scannable by the NPC cops, you could still use it to evade them if you are fit correctly.

Follow-up question as I'm too lazy to try on SiSi, is the $$$ fine mandatory or can I just tell said faction to flip off? I read somewhere the trick was to check gates for "Custom Office Agents" - just that I have yet to see a gate without them in high-sec.

No.

I've tried it. They will scan your cargo. How often they will catch you is unknown to me.

The second they scan you they will fine you and apply a standing penalty to whatever faction's space you are in.

The only option you have is whether or not you hand over the drugs if you get caught. If you say no they will murder you, if you say yes they'll take your drugs and send you on your way.

The Coreli Corporation is recruiting.

In highsec, while moving drugs in a blockade runner, as long as you throw on some nanos, cloak as soon as you jump through a gate, and stay cloaked while you land on the next gate.

You wont be able to get scanned.

If you warp and forget to cloak, they will scan you before you jump through the gate and youll get a small fine/sec loss but you can safely hit "no" and keep your drugs and jump through the gate.

i smuggled boosters to jita 4-4 before

Make a disposable alt and move it to low/null where you have your boosters (relatively close to jita will help)
train him to use nanofibers (16 minutes or so) and get him a fast aligning ship with nanos fitted. Load with some boosters (don't put billions there ofcourse, incase you'll have few seconds timer in jita and won't be able to dock straight away).
Burn, burn and laugh at customs while they make your wallet go negative (tbh from few trips that i did i was only fined once on a gate).

You want to have a bookmark on jita 4-4 station in docking range. I've noticed that warping to that spot (which should be at 0 to station) will give you almost immidiate docking right unlike normally when often it gives you a delay and you can't dock for few seconds.

This is the correct answer. You cannot avoid being scanned but you don't have to hand over your dope. If you ignore the warning, you get sec loss.
