Oddly enough I've taken down buffer fitted battleships with as few as 4 interceptors.

Someone is doing it very, very wrong.

All ships in Eve have vulnerabilities. Exploit them.

Have you looked at F&I?

Battle Skiff is definitely coming to a station near you.

I engaged a Nereus on an undock recently, I was in a Navy Harbinger and thought it was a free kill, but the guy shot back and I found that I was actually having trouble breaking his tank, I had to use Conflag and OH just to break his tank but he melted after that. Turns out it was a passive shield recharge tanked Nereus and I plugged it in EFT and it had almost 600dps tank lol. Once the new Skiff is released, I can't wait to try it out for a PvP trollfit.

We fought three of them spider tanking. Very tough. Very fun!

Throughout history EVE....

That Mack with only one miner working (or none) in a belt.
That Mach that is doubiously positioned between the station and your cyno.
That mindless Myr or Domi that just jumps into your gate camp.
That text in jita that tells you that they will double your ISK.
That Venture that looks such a juicy target.
That Azaru that has had your corpies ratting ship scammed in the belt for 40 mins and still hasn't killed him.
That carrier that apears in sytem with your super that you ignore.

In a nutshell, if it smells, looks, feels and taste like faeces... ('tastes like', i dont know, just wanted another sense and can't hear it and isn't a dead person)

Just deal with it and allow out of the box thinking in this game.

pretty much this.

The concept of "bait and switch" is an everyday occurrence in EVE, moreso in PVP.

Post from an alt for obvious reasons below.

Over the past week my friends and I have been picked on by these haulers. Unless it was a programming mistake the haulers are not haulers. Something is not stirring the Kool-Aid about them. After losing a few interceptors we started losing attack frigates. Despite them being tech two focused damage, we are still losing to this Nereus ship.

Is there an exploit going on? Why is this hauler getting the best of us?

This thread made me spill my coffee from laughter.

You made the ultimate mistake you can make in EvE.

You underestimated your opponent.

3x drones + neutron blaster + neut + huge supply of cap boosters + element of surprise = surprisingly effective combat platform.

Bring a bigger ship next time. Or stop mining into cans. They can't kill you in hisec if you don't aggress them first.
