This thread isn't about the copy/paste on the site. If teasing them about that was the idea, we could have made the thread on day 1 when the word "Blink" was still prominently featured on various spots of the website :)

It's also not about "competition" - there's several other sites out there that do the same thing we do, some far more successfully than Synergy, all of them for much longer than Synergy, and I've never bothered them in the least.

This is showing that the site owner is playing his own lotto with several of his own alts. Previously secretly.

If you're still okay gambling knowing that the guy who choses the winning numbers also bets on the winning numbers - it's your ISK, by all means use it how you please.

As a fellow coder, I find it hilarious though frustrating when people rip off my sites. Granted it rarely happens, but it's always amusing to find those lazy copy/paste jobs. It's like a treasure hunt!

I've used your service a bit, its very well done. I'm not much of a fan of gambling in general but the execution is fantastic.

Personally I've considered setting up an out of game gambling site but I've yet to come up with something I feel would provide a service Blink doesn't already. (Also I don't want to deal with a 40 page threadnaught of "GOONS LOL" Roll )

Well this brings up a question, does someone pick the numbers or does it use an algorithm to randomly pick a winner?

Someone write's the algorithm. Maybe it has a line
Pseudocode:
IF Player is DevAlt THEN Pick as winner
or
IF Player is DevAlt THEN Pick as winner with .8 Probability

Maybe it doesn't. Only the Dev knows. So a DevAlt playing is, at best, suspicious.

gotta agree, ive played on my mail several times 1 vs 1 with a few people but it seems ail0ra has a higher rate than usual of winning stuff

Hello fellow people

I have departed from synergy and stolen all the isk in the corp wallet, andrew props to you for your research.

I am not greedy and it isn't in my nature to scam people however.

Ail0ra refused to stop playing with is alt, which can only damage the credibility of his website, while I was trying to uphold the integrity, needless to say I burnt out and decided enough was enough.

I can vouch however that the system is not rigged, ahtough it was at the start (feature got removed about a week and half ago) now the system is fair, but to be honest we were making enough profit without scamming people some people just get greedy I guess and want to stay top of nearly all the leaderboards.

So I compensated myself for my waisted time and effort.

I do wish synergy lotteries all the success in recovering from this blow, but who really wants to sit at the table with the dealer and his alts.

This mail was sent to the corp:

Hey

It is with much regret that I walk away from synergy it has been a good run but the activity of the site is so low that to actually make any profit worth talking about would take considerably longer.

However if the site does get off the ground again, best of luck and I do sincerely wish you all the success, but I have too many things to deal with and as the site has lost nearly all of its credibility I have had to reconsider my position

What is an issue is that synergy is going down the crapper yes there are loyal people on the site but in all hoonesty i'm burning out trying to uphold the integrity of the site, when people are still continuing to play with alts which does nothing but raise suspition and causes people to question the credibility of the site, hardly anyone wants to sit at the table with the dealer and his alts and the low activity has proven this.

So thanks but i'm out and I have emptied the corp wallet because that is what I believe I should be compesnated for my time into the site. You may think me greedy but this is not the case I had the oppurtunity to do this before however the site only breifly picked up with the new Tier 3 BC's and activity is way down low

tl;dr - They were stealing your money, but they stopped, but he stole all the money, but he promises they're not stealing any now.

Also, Ali0ra is using your site's chat to beg people to send more ISK to be stolen.

So that nyx you "won" off your other users went to a not-for-profit organization? Lithuanians in Need of Supercarriers?

And the 300b your site claims has been cycled through it, of which the site clearly states you've "won" about 1/5th of?

Must be hard, having a nyx, 60b, and no profits.
