What have you done?

It is now extremely difficult, if not impossible, to mouse over the scatter container and see if it's data, parts, materials.... in a timely fashion.

Exploration is how I make my ISK in this game, and this patch has made exploring relic sites a chore, instead of a fun / profitable thing to do in game.

No way, it's kitten the way it is. Mini-games, it's for console players. They should have never changed it, just added a new type of exploration site and leave hacking as it was.

They should have done it to something else, left hacking the way it was, so we could ignore that new thingy.
They should increase the scatter of the container and replace most of it with glitter confetti. Then little clowns dancing out of the cans and climbing into little red cars to speed away... just right as the SB uncloaks and quick locks.


And no it wasn't about module rotation. You could always stack for radar sites if that was all you did, so it did go quick with cans. What they removed is the combat requirement and replaced fittings with useless components. Then stuck you with a minigame and sitting duck. It's soooo un-EVE. But at least it provides more targets for SB's and Falcons etc. Big smile

I like and admire Skill. As in trained, and in the execution of completing a site.

The whole spew thing made me go WTF????? Shocked

CCP lost at least 6 or 7 paying subs I know of with exploration changes....instead we got instant gratification losers who will leave for the latest and greatest.

Really, REALLY dumb, business wise and a freakin slap in the face to players who trained tons of skills that are being made more useless every noob friendly patch.

Most of my income used to come from exploring - but the minigame killed that. On the otherhand the exploring changes brought a ton of new players to hacking with their shinny little covertop frigs and sister probe launchers - now i just crack those open for easy isk.

Yeah for new players, that's about it. We weren't complaining about exploration and demanding our thing be neutered. Our fleets ran strong and far, and they were many. Now all the new explorers only whine about loot Sad it'll never be good enough for them.
