Problem with the new patch

Hi,

Seems I'm unable to load the new patch and am being sent to the 'download the game' page, which I did despite how annoying I find having to re-install the entire game, and now it won't install because the game is already on the computer. I realize I can and should delete the Eve folder in my programs folder but is there anything else I need to do or is there a process I need to follow in this sort of situation?

Also the error that I got was:

The update was downloaded but it failed verification indicating that the file is corrupt. Would you like to download the file again?

You will not be able to enter the game until you download the update.

So if there's a quicker way to deal with this than reinstalling the game please let me know

Thanks for your help

Its a sad day when FuryBot™ cant keep up.

I really hope they fix it with .087.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

I think the resurgence of the Dinsdale mission runner thread blew a fuse. He should be back in working order shortly, we've already called in to tech support.

My bad and I did search the forums but only found complaints rather than solutions... discovered my problem though tried to launch from the launcher that was still up from last night... just needed to restart it. Thanks for the reply though :)

I guess they should reinforce the FuryBot™ node whenever Dinsy posts.

I'm not rewarding you for posting in the wrong forum.

Go to Issues and Workarounds, and use the search tool.

For what it is worth, I'll have a torrent of the full client available tomorrow.

I aim to update the day after a release. EDIT: For major releases, like Kronos, I'll try to do same-day.

I post updates here:

You found only complaints and no solutions on an internet forum?? Now we know you are lying.

I demand that FuryBot™ be recoded with multithreaded architecture or I shall unsub all eleventy of my accounts.

I think FuryBot™ is unavailable whilst being updated with tool tips to show you what it does...
