Carebear vs. pirate

Of coarse if your a carebear this is appealing to you. you want a cheap way to evade gatecamps
even though there are other ways(Covert,Stabs)

On our side the pirates...if we setup a gatecamp and wait....and wait and oooooo indy. we want to kill him. now if hes stabed and all we have is a long point...hes going to get away. but if we train for a phobos (less time to train for a covert) If an indy is stabbed the phobos is going to be the counter to that cause it takes skills to be able to fly that. But if you come in a MWD + cloak indy your going to get away from a high SP player beause of an exploit.
Now covert ops is meant to be used in lowsec. yes you can catch them but it is hard. These take SP and can get away from higher SP.

The point im saying is that if you train for something in this game your going to be able to use better stuff.
But when it comes to the MWD + Cloak this is a quick easy way to evade a long skill to train. (covert).

Either way...i agree any prop shouldnt be able to be used while using a cloak.

Gate camp with more than one person. I hear having a few thrashers or interceptors on hand works well for insta-locking and decloaking. MWD cycle is 10 seconds. Working as intended.

MWD + Cloak is not an exploit.

Bring more tackle. What kind of camp has just 1 long point along.
Heavens forbid an indy still has some minor way to escape from a camp. Most of them who burn and cloak get caught anyways.
Assist your drones all on a couple ceptors and burn ahead of where he was. Decloak. Blap. Rinse repeat

Your SPs do not entitle you to a kill. And you will never see a true carebear in low sec unless it's a navigational accident.

For posting an idea into F&I: come up with idea, try and think how people could abuse this, try to fix your idea - loop the process until you can't see how it could be abused, then post to the forums to let us figure out how to abuse it..... If your idea can be abused, it [u]WILL[/u] be.

Gate camps are not real pvp anyways. Almost no skill is involved but knowing your basic motorskills of the hand you use for your mouse and F1.
