............TLDR Had an escalation and RL prevented me from getting to it in 24 hours. So i warped to it in a ceptor to reset the timer and nothing happened............. thought it was a bug so i petitioned it and got a response that this is working as intended.

So yea.......... I highly doubt my issue is going to be resolved; however some confirmation as to weather or not escalations are supposed to reset for another 24 hours when you warp to them for the first time would be greatly appreciated.

EDIT: Was unaware of the specific rule forbidding re-posting of GM convos.

I assume you're new around here, but as far as I remember, posting in-game conversations with GM or Dev to the forums is forbidden, you might take out those parts out and just re-state your issue by your point of view.

The timer reset (when you initiated warp to them) was removed. CCP finally saw that many people were exploiting the escalation sites by not completing them and rather, were warping to the escalations and cargo scanning the faction NPC...and either waiting until after downtime to scan them again, or killing them if they had worthwhile loot drops.

I'm surprised it took them as long as they did to finally fix the obvious flaw in escalations, but they did, with good reason.

Dear lord, please help me deal with the insufferable....

A corp mate had an escalation with a timer that reset just last week. Do you have a link to documentation of this change? And would it not be easier just to disallow cargo scanners from being used on NPCs?

Your welcome, but some sort of confirmation on my specific issue would have been appreciated.
