After a hilarious 2014 Eurovision and seeing the rather colorful Icelandic entry, I have had a revelation. PERMABAND should apply for Eurovision next year.

They'd get my vote though I think they'd need to go with their latest masterpiece as Eurovision might have some... issue with the lyrics in HTFU.

But trolling Eurovision with HTFU would be awesome.

Don't think they would be able to use there masterpiece as IIR the rules state something about the song being 3 mins long max or something like that

Update: just did a wiki search on Eurovision rules. Called it 3mins max, and despite them being allowed to shorten it it also states that no music that's already published can enter. however i'm not sure if this means music that's you can buy etc

They'd probably have a pretty large playerbase as potential voters for sure...

Bah, Eurosong, when was the last time something good ever came out of that farce?

Have you seen how angry Russia is over the bearded lady?

That alone is TV gold.

Are they? That is just a guy with a beard dressed like a woman. Another one. I don't care. They should too.

It would definitely be an improvement.

I have no idea how many brain cells were mutilated by that cancer of a TV show this year alone.

Russia tried to ban showing Conchita Wursts' act. Now it seems there is a mass shaving of beards in protest.

Incidentally, for those who have no idea what is going on this is the act in question.

That said Conchita is now no 1 in the russian chartsLol

I have to say that watching Permaband one weekend and the ESC a later one I couldn't avoid to wonder why Iceland just skipped the national trials and just asked CCP to deliver ;)

And regarding the Austrian sausage and it's reception in Russia and other countries, last news I saw was that the song was #1 on Russian iTunes.

So j.random people of a certain country, and their current governments, might not always agree ...

CCP Greyscale: As to starbases, we agree it's pretty terrible, but we don't want to delay the entire release just for this one factor.
