Multi Client Unable To Run

Using multiple clients (5) to mine becomes unplayable while in belt.

running 5 eve clients at the same time for mining in windowed mode boggs down to unplayable speed. Issue started with crucible update and has continued through crucible update 3. Prior to release, was able to run 5 clients for mining with playable frame speeds.
System resources shows only 3G of 4G RAM being used, 100% of Intel Core Duo CPU P8400 @ 2.26GHZ being used, disc usage is at 50%. Eve is set in window mode, 1024x768, UI scaling at 100%, NVIDIA GeForce 9800M GTS, Interval default. Graphics set at lowest possible.

I arrive at a Large Asteroid Cluster with a Rorqual at 100KM off the belt, then squad warp 4 hulks 70 - 100km off the Rorqual, slect a rock and jump the squad, canceling the Rorqual so it stays out of the belt. Target a roid and activate the T1 Strip Miners on the targets and things start to bog down. The game is still playable at this point, but is slower than previous release. Also, I am zoomed out and have 'do not show brackets' (or what ever it says) selected in overview. The belt rats show and I release 5 drones per Hulk for 20 drones. Drones are T2's. At this point, the game becomes unplayable. Task Manager tells me at this point 3G of 4G ram being used and 100% CPU and disk is at about 50% usage. I do not know which client is which in the task manager, but the memory used by them at this point range from 457K to 289K or so. I have the 5 clients in window mode and are staggered, one on top of the other. Usually the first in the stack and the last 2 in the stack are the ones unplayable. I recall the drones of the 2nd and 3rd clients in the stack and send them to station and close those clients. I then have to click on the red X in the upper right hand corner of the client to close the remaining 3 as they are still bogged down and not responding to commands. after force quitting, i log in 1 character to retrieve the drones that were left behind.

I second this motion.

I used to run 4 clients, at approx 50-60 fps each (200-240 fps if you factor all windows in to equation).

Now, I can not run even a single client at greater than 10 fps.

2 clients? That's grounds for 15 minutes waiting....

CCP plz assist

How does the game run with 3 or 4 clients?
It might be that 5 clients is just a bit to much to ask from your system since they updated the graphics a bit last patch.

Did you check your video card drivers?
Your current video card is a bit outdated only should be able to run 1 eve client.

Have you tried running 1 client at the lowest graphics ? see if that gave you more fps ?

i have the same card, been fine running 4-5 clients with mid to min graphics settings. but when running 4 clients client ram useage is around the 3gb mark, so my guess is you do not have enough ram.
install more ram, i have 8gb of ddr3 and dont have any issues, even when ccp dropa fresh memory leak into teh clinets and they all sit at 1gb useade each.
edit, i hit up windows task manager and my current client useage is 0.757gb 0.638gb 0.618gb and 0.572gb =2.585gb total. windows xp might eb much lighter than win7, but it will be useing around 1gb itself

OMG when can i get a pic here

When running multiple clients, the game seems to freeze but only in half. There is no ship moving whatsoever, but the well known messages appear "ship stopping" or "you are in warp".I can see the ship.It does not move a inch. When i press dock..the window remains the same but my ship is at 43 km from docking point.

I'd like to mention that i have these problems since Crucible.
Right after the patch was launched.
