Viewing other players PI networks

I've been doing PI for about 3 months now. Started in hi sec and after a month of diminishing returns I moved to low sec and made a PI alt. During all this planet scanning I would right click the planet and select "view other characters network." I never saw one planet with anything on it. I just assumed not that many were doing PI in my home area. The other day just for S&G's I looked at my alt's planets that I knew had structures on it and still nothing showed up. So how do you check to see if there's competition on the planet?

You're doing it right.

Just zoom in real close and look carefully. The networks--if they exist--are somewhat faded and hard to see.

I really am wasting my breath though, when you can avoid questions from Hexxx and RAW23 like that you must have some seriously devoted investors. --Elizabeth Norn

When selecting this options, only the Command Centers are shown, which can be very difficult to see.
Try switching to scan mode and moving the scanning sliders to cover the planet surface in a uniform color, e.g. white. That will make them easier to spot.

After clicking on another characters CC, the rest of the structures will be made visible. Extractor heads will not be shown, as they are not structures (the extractor is).
