Any chance of more Mexallon in nullsec?

So...

The Odyessy ore rebalancing has done alot to alleviate the need for tritanium and pyerite in nullsec. However, nullsec is still woefully understocked as far as Mexallon is concerned.

And it's not that Gneiss doesn't have lots of Mexallon in it, the main issue is that's there's simply not enough Mexallon in the ore anomalies. Any chance that we can replace a few of the bigger Spod rocks with Gneiss rocks of the same volume? That would do a great deal to alleviate the problem.

Cheers.

If I remember correctly, one of the Devs confirmed that one of the eventual side-effects of this big reprocessing and refining shift would allow all the "Extra Materials" to be removed from BPO/BPC's... so things should sort themselves out eventually regarding any bottlenecks.

CCP stated before after the buff to nullsec ore that they don't want to see nullsec dependent from high sec regarding minerals supply, so unlikely CCP will buff any other minerals in nullsec ore.

Had the same thought. Link to Fozzie's comment in thread.

Working as intended.

What does repocessing have to do with the fact that mex is not abundant in the ore fields?

Yes CCP did say that. Although if you look at all the other changes they are doing nearly everything else to make null sec self sufficient and independent from high sec industry.

Just get in touch with the nullies in CSM and I'm sure CCP will kindly oblige.

Looks like they are adding Mex to Arkonor https://community.eveonline.com/news/dev-blogs/fortune-favors-the-bold/
Quote:
We are adding Mexallon to Arkonor, increasing the Pyerite in Bistot, and increasing the Nocxium in Crokite. These changes should help cover some of the holes in mineral supply for local producers in nullsec, as well as increasing the return for “ninja” miners taking trips into lowsec and nullsec space.

Great isn't it, people always complain about players not moving between regions, then they make it so players have to move less between regions...

No one is going to "ninja" mine an ore that isn't more valuable than something in low sec.

ABC should be at the top of the profitability list and they haven't been for a few years now.
