So i found a topic like this one from back in 2011 that wasn't answered, so will ask again.

Why does the scanner window stay open on undock for one client but won't for another. Is there an option somewhere that will keep it open?

i also have this problem. happens on one computer but not the other.
also i have on one computer hwere ship hangar keeps closing and on the other it is gone everytime i dock...
