Numbers on the outpost upgrades

So, ive been doing some math about the numbers of outpost upgrades, and here they are:

Im going to put the minmatar outpost as an example, most of them, are already upgraded to level 1 to get the perfect refine we had before summer expansion.

For the people that doesnt know, to upgrade an outpost you need, the platform (lvl 1-2-3) and the mats, the specific platform (Refinery, offices, research or offices lvl 1-2-3) and of course the mats for that platform too.

In total, from level 1 to level 2, the cost is around 14 billions and for level 2 to level 3 around 28 giving us 42 billions of investment in total.

42 billions of investment for a 60% refining rate compared to the 54 % the pos module gives us, you need to refine around 700 billions worth of ore to only cover the expenses, not mention, its an outpost, you will lose it cause everybody who has been in 0.0 for some time know that you get kicked from your space sooner or later.

My opinion, the mechanic is broken, my idea is that outpost upgrades should be destructed when someone conquers the station and be much cheaper.

Well, seeing as CCP is of the mind "all (edit - player-made) stuff should be able to be destroyed" ... seems like you'll eventually be getting your wish.

So.. what... 7 titans 8? 20-25 supers? After that its pure profit? I'm not even taking into account the dozens of carriers/dreads/BS hulls that can get produced monthly, especially since there are no slots restrictions anymore. Also it saves on transport costs if you are compressing.

Its around 11 titans or 39 supers, built in a single system, its not worth at all. 2 years of build time if you build them one by one

You need:
* Foundation Upgrade Platform + Basic Upgrade Platform
* Monument Upgrade Platform + Intermediate Upgrade Platform
* Pedestal Upgrade Platform + Advanced Upgrade Platform
You can skip the Foundation / Monument / Pedestal Platform if the outpost already has one, but you still have to have the construction platform for the upgrade, plus the lower tier upgrade.

Besides the construction platforms, you also have to fill them with construction materials.

Thats right, i was just giving you the exact numbers for the advanced outpost, is not 21.8 is 9.9+3.6+14.4 for the cost of the materials, the upgrade and the platform, giving you a total of 27.9bs just the level 3
