UI Layout Bookmarks- Size and Position of Windows and Notifications

The basic idea:
Functionality that allows players to save and load custom UI configurations.

What I mean by UI configurations:
Locations of windows on screen, their size, whether or not they're pinned, etc.- I am not talking about overview tabs.

Why this is worth considering:
I can give a personal example. I currently play with multiple monitors, but they're not all the same resolution. While it is not too complicated or time consuming to switch one client over to the other screen and change its resolution, it is a very tedious endeavor to reposition and resize all of my UI windows.

This is normally just an inconvenience, but when I'm in the midst of a PvP engagement and I need to switch one client to my main screen and throw the other one over to the smaller one, it is a real debacle. I often find myself battling my ship's warp speed by trying to move and resize chat windows, fleet windows, overview tabs, d-scan, and whatever else before I land on grid. I usually don't even bother with the damage and battle notifications. It's not that I have too many useless things on screen: the problem is that when I change resolutions, all of these UI windows are overlapping and spilling outside of the screen.

But this issue is not just related to personal hardware. One might want different UI layouts for different tasks within the game. Or, maybe it's just a Friday and someone feels like using their special "Friday UI" layout as opposed to the "Monday - Thrusday UI" layout. A silly example, I know, but it gets the basic idea across.

It would make life so much easier if one could simply push a couple buttons to load the proper UI layout (one that has already been created and saved). It would save a lot of time. Plus, I'm sure there are other features I haven't thought of that others might.

Here is a Reddit thread with more comments.

Edit:
I am not talking about GarpaUI. While it is a nice feature, my understanding of how it works does not fit the vision of what I'm talking about. I do not want to restart my client every time I want to load a UI layout. That would take even more time than manually readjusting all the windows. If my understanding of how GarpaUI works is wrong, please enlighten me.

Regards,
- Galo

Obligatory:
I checked the common ideas thread and had a look around the forums and I haven't seen an idea like this yet. Hopefully I didn't miss anything obvious. If I have, then apologies.

My OCD gets hurt pretty hard whenever something ends up one pixel off because the placement of the UI elements can be so damn inconsistent, especially when playing in windowed mode. +1

I think this thread is relevant though: https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=246910

I would love to be able to have a couple saved ui layouts. One for playing with just my main, and one for paying with my alt. For just my main I would have the window down both screens, with most of my windows on one side, and my other monitor clear.

A lazors, lazors, lazors, lazors, lazors everywhere.

I've been wanting something like this for ages. In my trading I tend to switch very often between fullscreen (updating orders) and running two clients side by side in windowed mode on one monitor (when purchasing). Every time it's a night mare to change UI scaling on both clients and fiddle with about 7 different windows to get the screen real estate sorted out.

Big +1 from me.

This is a perfect example of why a feature like this would be totally rad. I hadn't even though of this.

It's a nightmare using 2 monitors with different res. +1
