Captain's Quarters - A spaceage supermax prison?

I was just thinking about how the captains quarters seem very restrictive and prison-like. A prisoner in todays supermax prisons gets a TV, depending on behavior, and a cell - just the same.

The only difference is, in the supermax prison you can actually change the channel on the television.

Oh, they also get to leave their cell for 1 hour per day.

I can hop into my Capsule, board a ship, undock and roam space like a god. I would hardly call that a prison.

Let's lock an ordinary person in CQ and watch them starve to death.

A progressive supermax prison! It has a self-directed, early release program. (The balcony.)

Pon Farr Memorial: once every 7 years, all the carebears in high-sec must PvP or they will be temp-banned.

Prisons at least have toilets.

A room with a Megathron is not considered a prison, but more of brothel.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

I prefer Amarr stations for toilet duties, I make sure to book a cell on the top floor so that the Amarr scum residents below me can appreciate the aftermath of the curry I ate earlier in the day.

The decor's not bad and the chanting is relaxing too.

In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

You didn't eat anything. That was the matrix telling you you ate something and it was delicious. Smile

They say most of your brain shuts down on the EvE forums. All but the impatient side, and the sarcastic side. No wonder I'm still awake.

That sort of makes sense. I mean the only places we can dock lead right to those quarters, we can't get out and mix with the rest of the population, everything gets delivered to us as we order it.

Capsuleers are too dangerous to allow to mingle with non-capsuleers. It is so obvious now.

Pods don't have them either, I'll bet some capsuleers really are desperate to go.

Why would we want to commune with the common riff-raff anyway?

People: "You shouldn't burn bridges." Me: "I don't, I bomb them from orbit."
