I have always wondered do aliens exist in the eve universe? I'm not talking jovians or talocans as those are pretty much human civilizations. I am talking about Real Aliens completely unrelated to humans.

Fedos, Slaver hounds and Long Limbs. Nothing sentient.

And I hope it stays that way. EVE is about mankind in all its ugly glory. Aliens would only distract from that.

^this ... technically, we are the "aliens".

Though I suppose you could consider the Yan Jung, Takhmal, Talocan, and Sleepers as "aliens" (the first three are apparently "ancient" and long-dead ... the last is, apparently only mostly dead).

One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia

The only 'alien' i would like to see in eve is terrans. That the new space, as some speculate, is the milky way. And humans, the ones from Earth, are waititng on the other side.

Thats pretty much it.

OMG Comet Mining idea!!! Comet Mining!

The Jovians are about as alien as EvE gets.

That's what EvE needs. A super powerful and completely unknown alien race that drops in and starts blapping anybody on grid. Shocked

We, for a short time, may have to put the sodomizing of our fellow EvE player aside and band together to save our own skins.

Could be fun. Big smile

I actually really like the "no Aliens" route. It really gives weight to the idea that space is huge and been around a long long time, and is really very very empty.

Kinda like BSG (mk2).

They tried that already, carebears just farm them for isk and Concord LP.

Although they weren't aliens, they were space zombies, but that's pretty close.

Ha, no not the **** weak Sanshas. Keywords "Super powerful" and "completely unknown". The Sansha's would be more interesting if the screen didn't turn green and no 'Sansha life bar' appeared in the top left corner.

I like how EVE has (so far) stayed off the alien bandwagon. Almost every sci-fi book, movie, or game out there has a plethora of alien races, but EVE has managed to turn humans into "aliens".

Technically speaking, there are complex living organisms on planets throughout New Eden which can be harvested through PI so it isn't a completely barren part of the universe.

We are the aliens, from Earth's perspective.

I would like to see Earth's remaining populous somehow find another EVE gate and entering our galaxy and turn hostile on us.

That'd be an interesting expansion. We re-establish contact with Earth after thousands of years and it has become some cyborg dictatorship bent on genocide.
