I have 25 days to fly Tengu optimally, missile and shields to 5 and all. Now I just need a semi blingy(650m or so max) fit set for running lowsec Guristas 5 and 6/10s, help me?

I would have to imagine that the search function would have led you to a tengu fit but here you go anyway.

Swap out rigs if you don't value cap stability.

Swap out invuln for target painter if you think they do you any good.

I don't know how much this costs but mine has paid for itself 10 times over at least.

Not today spaghetti.

Thanks! Will T2 HMLs work for now?

i use a similar tengu fit with HMLs, it loses a bit of dps but you get some range as compensation.

kill em all.

Cakes fit has too much cap control rigs, you really don't need it for 5-6/10s. You should use 2 range rigs, it will really help with your damage application cause you won't be constantly burning into range.

You don't need the Thermic hardener, you can switch that for another Kinetic and drop the omni hardener. That gives you space for a small cap booster with Navy 200s. That's how mine is fit, anyway.

You don't need the cap booster either, at least not for Guristas lowsec combat sites (Except maybe Minor guristas annex but that site isn't worth the time). I would say replace it with a target painter but I used exactly the same fit but with a target painter and I found that it didn't really net any helpful volley saving, most regular frigs will still take 2 volleys of CN missiles even with the painter, you do save 1 volley against Cruisers (not battlecruisers) when shooting rage ammo but generally speaking there aren't that many in 5-6/10s to make it really worth it. There also aren't any elite frigs/cruisers in 5-6/10s even though the painter would probably help there. That all being said, you're not losing anything going with a cap booster in the last mid, however carrying cap charges as well a full cloaky fit and enough ammo to do a few sites really puts pressure on the Tengus limited cargohold, I would suggest a cap recharger just so you can be more lazy. Also, your fit is slightly over on CPU.

Yeah, the cap booster is mainly security for heavy webbers which you can kite anyway, so I was thinking of downgrading to small shield booster and TP. I wasn't really sure what to expect in low/null combat sites so I went for the extra tank, plus the shield booster is pretty cheap. The CPU is just an implant thing, I guess.

I would stay with the medium shield booster personally, you get alot of cap time on it and it gives you overall tank, it's also very cheap at only 80mil, the extra burst tank may save you if you mess up. There are no heavy webbing frigs in lowsec sites although there are 3 web towers in the 3rd room of the 5/10 that you need Javelin and at least 2 range rigs to kill.
