For some odd reason nobody made this thread yet.

I mean... of course, many have used that title,
but this time it's for real!

Beer for PLEX!
Drink away your billions of ISK! :D

This thread addressed the FF visitors.

I'd like to know more details about it.

I doubt one PLEX equals one beer,
so how many do you get?

How complicated is it actually?
CCP Hellmar said it's mildly complicating,
but encourages everybody to try it out!

And how does PLEXbeer taste like?
What's your experience with the service?

That ringing in your ears you're experiencing right now is the last gasping breathe of a dying inner ear as it got thoroughly PULVERISED by the point roaring over your head at supersonic speeds. - Tippia

Someone said you get 1000ISK tokens for a PLEX. Previous years a beer was 500ISK, so my guess is 2 beer per PLEX.

I don't recall this service existed last year and he didn't mention any of it.

What does beer at the store cost?

How many PLEXes do you get if you give CCP one crate of German beer?

The ISK tokens for PLEX is a new thing.

No idea about beer in the stores but two years ago a beer outside the venue in a bar was 600-700ISK.

I pint in Iceland is around 6 monopoly euro money or £5 or $8.50 so 2 pints for a PLEX seems fair especially at such a venue.

They weren't kidding when they said that alcohol is expensive in Iceland...

For the price of a PLEX I get 12 cans of beer in the supermarket in Austria easily,
and in some bars at least five Krügerl... that's 0.5L.

Does anybody really use this service?
