I'm looking to get a PI venture started up and my forum searches showed nothing so I've come to you guys for help. I know that when PI was originally released, planets basically had cross-character depletion. In other words, if there were 100 people on the planet, good luck getting anything else out of it.

My understanding of this mechanic is that it has since changed and basically WH PI was set to a high output while highsec PI was set to a low output.

My question: does cross character depletion still exist and to what extent does it exist?

Last I heard, more characters actively using a planet meant less output per time. I don't do much PI, so I'm not up to date. If anyone has more recent info, I'd like to hear it.

There is a general rule that the lower the sec status, the better the output. So yes, WH planets have are the best and HighSec are the worst
